eco_logic habitat / khaima workshop: 2011

Project

The Khaima workshop is developed in collaboration with the ngo CISS within the framework of the Forum International des Jeunes de Quartiers du Monde organized in Salč (Morocco) by the associations Quartier du Monde and Targa. For this occasion COdesignLab is developing with worldwide and local youths a scale 1 to 1 urban tent as a social attractor. This tensile structure want to be an high tech-design low-tech construction experiment with the aim of colonising an urban residual space evolving the local traditional tents structures. The ecological approach of this urban installation intends to generate a social engagement for creating/ re-generating spaces of relation for such neighborhood.
